Pam George is a fiber artist who specializes in art quilts. Rather than use a traditional pattern, Pam works from photographs and paints on fabric to create quilts that resemble paintings. Pam and her quilts are featured in the latest episode of ‘HandMade’ on Tellico Village Broadcasting.
David Hardin had 2 of his photographs selected to be part of the eighth annual Knoxville Photo juried exhibition, which featuring selected works from 32 artists throughout the region. The exhibition encompassed photographs depicting all subjects and genres, including streetscapes, cityscapes, landscapes, environmental portraiture, portraits, abstracts, and more and was displayed in the main gallery of the Emporium Center from July 3-31, 2020.
Kate Aubrey and Lil Clinard are the only two watercolor artists in TN to have paintings juried into the National Watercolor Exhibition (NWS) this year which were presented on-line May 2020. Congratulations!
Jean Porter, TnWS Region IV representative, reports that 11 of the 16 artists of this region juried into the Tennessee Watercolor Exhibition (TnWS), 2020, are members of the Art Guild of Tellico Village.
