Class Content: Discover the beauty of painting irises in watercolor. With their beautiful colors and frilly petals they provide an ideal painting subject. Use basic watercolor techniques along with wet-on-wet and negative painting to create a beautiful piece of artwork. Demos along with individual help will encourage everyone in their own artistic expression.
Supply List: Watercolor paints, brushes, water container, paper towels and pencil. Two 11×15 inch or larger sheets of 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. I strongly recommend Arches watercolor paper for best results with wet on wet and blending techniques. I will have Arches 140 lb watercolor paper available for purchase at the class for $3 /11 x 15 inch piece.
