Scarlett Hanover, Graduate of Middle Tennessee State University in Graphic Design and Illustration, will give a complete demonstration discussing the pros and cons, best uses and ideal substrates for some of the best art markers available. You will have the opportunity to try the markers too.
Marabu Graphix Aqua Pens: Versatile watercolor pens in a vibrant array of colors. The high-quality inks are bright and low odor. Draw or color lines and solids as you would with any marker, or blend and spread the color with a damp brush for paler hues and lovely shading.
Copic Creative Art Markers: Durable graphic markers which are alcohol-based, refillable and available in various designs and in 358 colors to suit individual needs
Tombow Dual Brush Pens: The flexible brush tip works like a paintbrush to create fine, medium or bold strokes; the fine tip gives consistent lines. The water-based ink is blendable and the resilient nylon brush retains its point stroke after stroke.
Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens: the Pitt Pen has all the advantages of artist’s inks with the benefits of a modern, easy-to-use pen. The pigmented and very lightfast drawing india ink is ideal for sketches, drawings, layouts, fashion design and illustration.
Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Markers: These watercolor markers are a high-quality drawing instrument that supports both spontaneous sketching and artistic watercolour painting. Perfect for painting on the go.
Uni’s Posca Paint Markers: Richly pigmented opaque ink markers which can mark on almost any surface with vivid colors that dry to a matte finish. The acrylic paint is non-toxic, lightfast, waterproof, and weather-resistant in 55 colors.
