Class payment process update

Notice to all members and instructors:
We are disabling PayPal payments for all classes due to PayPal’s inability to provide adequate security for your payments. There’s a new solution planned, and we’ll be working on this through the summer. In the meantime, we’ll need to resort to a manual system.
While we’re in this transitional period, please bring cash or check to the class (your instructor should contact you with payment details). Remember that your registration is your personal commitment to attend.
It’s very important that we maintain the integrity of the Art Guild for this. Please, do not register and then not show up. Doing so disrespects our instructors and ultimately harms your fellow members. If you register and are later unable to attend, you MUST notify the instructor ahead of time.
We know that PayPal has been a problem for many in the past. Because of PayPal’s inability to secure accounts, we encourage our members not to use their service. The new system we’re working towards will not use it at all, and should avoid the annoyances that many of our members have encountered in the past.
