Prerequisites: Basic drawing class or lots of practice
Workshop Content: Working from Observation at Ft. Loudon State Park in Vonore with graphite or color pencil.
Lessons: How to select a composition from observed landscape and to capture information to apply to drawing paper. How to build value with graphite or color pencil. How to select a focal point and created a sense of depth, foreground, middle ground, and background.

Biography: (Loretta) Lee Edge has an extensive background teaching art in public schools around the U S as well adult education including in Tellico Village. Lee earned a bachelor’s degree in art at Moore College of Art/Design on full scholarship and a master’s at Tyler School of Fine Arts, Temple University, both in Philadelphia Pa. She holds signature membership in the Tn Watercolor Society and in the Southern Watercolor Society, having received awards for paintings in exhibits sponsored by both societies, and in other exhibits sponsored by the Oak Ridge Art Center and the Fountain City Art Center.
