Class Content: Come learn the relaxing, meditative art of needle felting.
In this class I will teach you about the natural fibers and the tools used to create a 2 D needle felted frame-able piece of art on Linen. We will discuss all the possibilities of substrates and images. You will free hand draw your image or use transfer pens. I will have plenty of my work there so you can see the different ways to needle felt. The class fee includes all the wool and your tools which are yours to take home. I will give you sites to see other peoples work to explore.

Biography: I am a self taught needle felter. I have taken classes on line from some of the best. I love textiles and needle felting is right up my alley. I am a long time art quilter. I have taken classes from national quilt instructors from all over the world. I have many award winning quilts and one has traveled the US for 1 year. I have a quilt published in Susan Brubaker Knapps book, “Point, Click, Quilt!” Another quilt was used in advertising for a National qult show. I lean towards textiles and however I can manipulate them. Needle felting is another way to create images and sculptures. In today’s world there is everything to learn online. I am constantly researching what ever medium I work in. I sell my pieces on Etsy and have customers in my community. I also have commissions.
