Class Content: Yupo is a synthetic paper with a slick surface that allows for all sorts of fun painting techniques and keeps the colors bright and true. We will spend part of the morning experimenting with different ways to apply the paint by using a brush, brayer, spray and stamps. We will also experiment with lifting, burnishing and adding some mixed media. We will then apply these techniques to three different floral paintings allowing for your own personal creative expression.
Watercolor and/or acrylic paints can be used and four sheets of yupo paper (11×17 inch) will be supplied for each student.
