Class Content: This class will introduce the Art of Zentangle including its origins, supplies and the 8-step process. Students will go home with several completed designs. Zentangle is meditative drawing which uses ink, paper and learned patterns to create beautiful art and enhance relaxation and creativity in the process. Taught by Gayla D. Seale, a Certified Zentangle Instructor. Supply kits will be included and will be taken home by the participants at the end of the class.
Supply List: All supplies will be provided. The participant will be able to take home the supplies at the end of the class.

Biography: I am a working artist in Knoxville, Tennessee. My preferred mediums are watercolor and watercolor with ink. I have learned my art mostly through adult education and self-study. I focus on cityscapes and the patterns and designs found in architecture, plant life and textiles. I teach both watercolor painting and Zentangle (meditative pattern drawing) in my downtown studio. My studio and gallery is located in the Emporium Building at 100 South Gay Street.
