Class Content: In this one-day class, Lil will cover an array of techniques to provide basics and exciting possibilities for painting watercolor on Yupo, a durable, silky plastic paper. With yupo you can use resist, scrape, or lift back to white for highlights. Watercolor flows and mixes freely on Yupo; it’s a wonderful substrate. Topics covered will include how to prepare yupo for the best results, multiple ways to apply the paint, exciting ways to manipulate the paint, and how to frame and protect your painting. There will be a brief presentation, demonstrations and you will be able to paint 2 or 3 paintings trying the techniques. There will be time for Q&A and critique.
