Class Content: This class will introduce the Art of Zentangle including its origins, supplies and the 8 step process. Zentangle is meditative drawing which uses ink, paper and learned patterns to create beautiful art and enhance relaxation and creativity in the process. Taught by Gayla D. Seale, a Certified Zentangle Instructor. Supply kits will be included and will be taken home by the participants at the end of the class.
Supply List: All supplies will be provided. The participant will be able to take home the supplies at the end of the class.

Biography: I am a working artist in Knoxville, Tennessee. My preferred mediums are watercolor and watercolor with ink. I have learned my art mostly through adult education and self-study. I focus on cityscapes and the patterns and designs found in architecture, plant life and textiles. I teach both watercolor painting and Zentangle (meditative pattern drawing) in my downtown studio. My studio and gallery is located in the Emporium Building at 100 South Gay Street.
