Class Content: A mind of peace is a quiet mind enjoying the present moment. A mind of anxiety is talking to you all the time, it might be focused on what people think, or the endless task list, stealing your peace. Mindfulness is learning to be present in the moment. Art is a wonderful avenue for pulling your mind into the present and knowing what might be stealing your peace. In this class we will use a series of art therapy exercises to explore our thinking and learn how to move our minds to enjoying the moment. We will use the exercises to create a mixed media collage. You do not need to have any previous art experience.
