Class Content: For another fun journey into mixed media, we are going to turn items that normally get thrown away like Altoid tins, old calendars, that one stray earring, etc. into small vignettes and works of art. Mixed media instructor Twyla Marti will show you how it’s done and all the wonderful things you can do to showcase your precious odds and ends.

Biography: Twyla Marti has been working in Mixed Media and Fiber Art for over 40 years. She has had the privilege of studying with many of the top artists/instructors in these fields which has helped her develop her own style. She is an avid hiker and finds her inspiration through nature, traveling, visiting art centers and galleries along with studying and exchanging ideas with other artists.
Twyla is now teaching at the Plateau Creative Arts Center in Crossville, TN which her and her husband became members of when they moved to Tennessee.
