Class Content: In this class, students will learn how to use acrylic paint & dotting tools to dot paint in a mandala format 2 Christmas ornaments – one wood disc & one plastic disc. All supplies & materials will be supplied by the instructor. Students should bring a small tray or similar device for carrying home the painted ornaments if they have not had adequate time to dry. The ornaments will be 4″ & 3″ respectively.
This will serve as an introduction to mandala dot art.

Biography: I have been doing some form of art & craft for as long as I can remember. I became interested in acrylic dot painting about 10 years ago & have experimented with different media & surfaces for “dotting”. In 2014, I formally decided to start a company in order to make a little money from my hobbies. JPosh Design Studio has evolved from wreath & garland decorations, to my current focus on Scrapbooking, Counted Cross Stitching, & Acrylic Dot Painting. Since retiring from a 40+ year career in Emergency Nursing, I have developed my skills & created a home studio devoted to my pursuits. I maintain an online business as well as participation in Craft Shows & Fairs.
