Escape the cold and let your mind wander to warm summer days filled with beautiful hollyhocks. In this class, you’ll be learning watercolor techniques through a simple, step-by-step process that will serve you for a lifetime of painting. By the end of the day, you’ll have a stunning piece of art, frame-ready and waiting for summer!
While it’s cold outside, we’re bringing the warmth of a Tennessee summer indoors. Join us, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or you’re a seasoned artist looking for a relaxing day of painting, this workshop is designed for all skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate, and beyond!).
The Details:

- What to Expect: I’ve broken down the “Queen of the Cottage Garden” into a simple, step-by-step process, with the flexibility to make it your own. You’ll learn how to layer soft tones on the petals, blend glowing summer greens, and use the natural flow of watercolor to create these hollyhocks by a country home.
- Guided Instruction: Follow along in real-time as we build the painting from sketch to final flourish.
- Stress-Free Painting: No “artist’s block” here—just a clear path to a finished piece you’ll be proud to frame.
- A “Warm” Escape: Start the Spring out by immersing yourself in the pinks, reds, and sunny yellows of a warm June garden.
Reserve Your Spot! Space is limited. Come enjoy a fun day of painting and leave with a masterpiece that feels like a breath of warm summer air.
“It’s a simple process that yields stunning results. You’ll be amazed at what you can create!”
